1) Create a temporary directory on your hard drive and unzip the file in that directory.
2)
Read the "README BEFORE INSTALL.txt" file, which will tell you an important
step about
adding some lines to your config.pro file.
3)
Double Click on Setup- this starts the installation process. The
recommended
Installation
Location is:
C:\Program Files\VoiceDESIGN
If asked to restart your computer, click on "No"
4)
The Microphone setup wizard will come up automatically. Click on "Next"
and follow
the directions
to set up your speaker volume and to select and adjust the microphone.
5)
The Voice training wizard comes up next. Click on "Next" and follow
the directions
to train
the voice engine. This increases the accuracy of your voice recognition.
6) Before starting VoiceDESIGNTM start Pro/ENGINEERTM.

From the start menu, click on Programs -> VoiceDESIGN. When the welcome
menu
appears,
read the instructions and enter your first name in the text box, then click
on "Done"
8)
Next you will get a message that says "Your unlock/timelock code is invalid".
Click on
OK. Next you will see the Unlock window. If you are installing
the demo,
just click
on "Run as Demo". If you are installing the full version, enter your
license
number
in the text box provided or insert the key disk in drive A and click on
"Get From
Key Disk". Contact Parametric Solutions Inc. at (561) 747-2605 if
you
have any
problems unlocking the Full version of VoiceDESIGNTM.
If you get
the message "VoiceDESIGN did not successfully initialize its connection",
be sure
that Pro/ENGINEERTM
is running and click on "Yes" to try again.
If Pro/ENGINEERTM
is running and you still get the message, click on "No" then
do step
9 and click on "Reset CAD Connection" after step 9.
9)
Select which version of Pro/ENGINEERTM
you are running under the "Software"
drop down
box.
10)
VoiceDESIGNTM should
greet you verbally, and you are now ready to issue commands.
Try speaking some of the commands from the Available Voice Commands list.
