SELECT A HIGH QUALITY MICROPHONE!!
The microphone you use has a major impact on your voice recognition accuracy.
We recommend several different headsets:
The highest quality and accuracy
that we have found is with the NoisebusterTM
Headset by NCT. It has
an active noise cancellation circuit that drastically reduces
background noise from your
speech input. We highly recommend these headsets for
the serious VoiceDESIGNTM
user.

The VXI Parrot 60V-20 headset
is also a high quality headset that works well.
This one also includes the
capability to use your telephone with the headset.
Other low cost headsets that
will work well are the Labtec C-322 and
the Andrea ANC-550.
We do
not recommend the use of open air microphones. These tend to pick
up
to much background noise which
lowers the voice recognition accuracy.
