Make sure
that your microphone is plugged into the right jacks. Make sure it
is
turned
on. You can check the microphone by clicking on Options >Other >Microphone
Setup Wizard.
Make sure
that your sound card has the proper drivers and is functioning properly
Try adjusting
the volume on your computer. You can do this by clicking on
Start >
Programs > Accessories > Multimedia > Volume Control. If you don't see
a
slider
for the microphone and "Wave" then click on Options > Properties and
put a check
in the microphone and Wave boxes. Try adjusting these two sliders
to get
accurate voice recognition. You can also try adjusting the voice
recognition
settings,
as explained in the next section.
Try adjusting
the recognition settings. You can get to those inside VoiceDESIGNTM
by clicking
on Options > Other > Voice Recognition Settings. Try changing the
settings
in the performance tab. If you have the volume of your microphone
tuned
in precisely,
you can set the automatic gain to off (it attempts to adjust your
microphone
volume constantly.) Try doing more voice training. You can get to
that inside
VoiceDESIGNTM
by clicking on Options > Other > Voice Training.
The more
articles you read, the higher the accuracy will be.
Make sure that you added the proper line to your Config.pro file.
You can find
information
about this in the "README Before Install" file that comes with
VoiceDESIGNTM.
Try clicking on "Reset CAD Connection" Sometimes the connection
between
VoiceDESIGNTM
and
Pro/ENGINEER does not initialize and several attempts
need to be made.
